The calling card of Piper-Heidsieck Champagnes, the Cuvée Brut consists largely of Pinot Noir . Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay also play an important role in this balanced cuvée.
Strictly selected wines from different years are added to ensure that the taste remains consistent year after year. Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut has matured for 24 to 30 months.
Tastes lively and fresh and has a characteristic aftertaste with an Oriental flavour. This champagne won 92 points in Wine Spectator and no less than two silver medals.

The Piper Heidsieck Brut consists of 55 % pinot noir. 30 % pinot meunier. 15 % Chardonnay. Like all Piper Heidsieck champagnes, this Brut also bursts with beautiful fruit aromas such as apple and pear and you can always smell spring in this beautiful champagne with spring flowers.
In the aftertaste we taste a light (smoky) toasting. The Piper Heidsieck is an elegant and fresh champagne with a pleasant mousse. Piper-Heidsieck champagnes explode with aromas. Pinot Noir enhances length and structure. which, together with the elegance and freshness of Chardonnay , lend Piper-Heidsiecks cuvées their distinctive style. which is characteristic of the great champagne houses.
It was for Agathe Perthois that Florens-Louis Heidsieck composed his first cuvée in 1785. Our House, born of this love affair, has been perpetuating this memory for more than two centuries thanks to a combination of ambition with expertise, and of passion with the strong personalities who founded the Piper-Heidsieck legend.
Attraction is the basis of our crus, which our Cellar Master also takes as a guideline when he selects and composes the crus. Temptation is a great source of inspiration when he produces his wines, resulting in the structure of a Pinot Noir combined with the fruit of a Meunier, complemented by the elegance of a Chardonnay and the timeless taste of precious reserve wines.
The Cuvée Brut is made from a majority of crisp Pinots Noirs complemented by Meuniers and Chardonnays, revealing the cellar masters' savoir-faire as well as the signature Piper-Heidsieck style and Champagne vineyards.
