        Luis Canas Rioja Crianza This wine is the result of bringing together family tradition with years of hard work and sacrifice. Garnet cherry color. On the nose it is clean and balsamic notes appear with fine nuances of plum and wood notes. In the mouth it is tasty, soft. Fruit and oak very melted, spicy, complex and structured. It has a pleasant aftertaste where red fruits appear with balsamic memories.

Founded in 1928, although the family can trace their roots in Rioja soil for two centuries. Luis Cañas Wineries have 90 organically managed hectares in the hills of the cooler Rioja Alavesa region, as well as long-term contracts with growers for a further 200 hectares of mixed regime viticulture. This is a dynamic, forward-thinking producer who makes elegant, fruit-filled wines that are neither too oaky nor over-alcoholic.

Luis Cañas Wineries is a family business dating back to 1928, although the family has been active in the grape growing and wine industry for more than two centuries. Today it is one of the most important wineries of the Rioja Alavesa region. At Luis Cañas, the vinification process starts with 90 hectares of their own vineyards and 200 hectares managed by their regular suppliers, spread over 815 plots. The winery is equipped with the latest modern winemaking systems to consistently produce wines of the highest quality.
