With the desire to create his own Sauvignon Blanc, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild acquired 24 hectares of vineyards, ideally located on the prestigious Rapaura Road in the heart of New Zealand's Marlborough region, and started production of this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc. These plots benefit from an ideal climate for the ripening of the Sauvignon Blanc grapes, giving them their specific lemon and grapefruit aromas, with a typical lively acidity.

Rimapere means "5 arrows" in tribute to the Rothschild family emblem. These 5 arrows symbolize the 5 founding sons of the Mayer Amschel Rothschild dynasty, who set out to conquer the world.
