In 1988, Sophie and Alain Meunier-Confuron took over this beautiful family estate. The domain has 8 hectares, spread over 12 appellations in the Côte de Nuits. The wines all have a very deep color and have a beautiful concentration.
Age
The vines are very old, some more than 95 years.
Vinification
Confuron's wines undergo a traditional red wine-making process. The wines mature in oak casks; for the Grand Cru 80-100 % new, for the other wines between 30-50 % new. The wines are clarified with proteins, they are not filtered
